Governing Board

The CMES Governing Board advises the center on various matters of policy and practice, is informed about the Center's budget and its allocation, participates in the awarding of the FLAS fellowships and undergraduate scholarships, and reviews the performance of the director. Members also evaluate applications from prospective Visiting Scholars and affiliated faculty and members of the Center. Appointment to the Board is made by the UA College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS) Dean in consultation with the CMES director and members of the Center. Members serve three-year terms.
