Governing Board
The CMES Governing Board advises the center
on various matters of policy and practice, is informed about the
Center's budget and its allocation, participates in the awarding
of the FLAS fellowships and undergraduate scholarships, and reviews
the performance of the director. Members also evaluate applications
from prospective Visiting Scholars and affiliated faculty and members
of the Center. Appointment to the Board is made by the UA College
